The inter-links of solar cell array system used in aerocraft mainly are pure silver foil and silver plated molybdenum foil. by way of inter-links, molybdenum has lots of virtue such as low value and so on, but it also has disadvantages such as poor conductance,seal performance and so on. In order to improve these disadvantages of molybdenum by way of inter-links, the molybdenum foil has to be silver plated, but the traditional silver plating technology is fussy, and the silver plated layers prepared by this technic have disadvantages such as poor binding strength and so on. Aiming at this, silver ions were implanted with the metal vapor vacuum arc (MEVVA) ion implanter in the present study, then silver is plated on the silver-ion-implanted molybdenum foil using non-cyanogen plating technology, and the silver plated layers were passivated by organic compound, so as to improve the ability of silver plated layers bearing sulfur erosion in the air. Simultaneously, silver foil has the problem of being eroded by atomic oxygen by way of inter-links, This paper do the experiment that silver foil was implanted with aluminum ions which can resist atomic oxygen using ion implantation technology, so as to improve the ability of resisting atomic oxygen.In this work, Ag ions and were implanted into pure molybdenum foil at a chosen ion dose of 0.5×1016-1.0×1017 ions/cm2 and the energy of 105 keV respectively, while aluminum implantation 2.0×1017ions/cm2 and 85 keV into pure silver foil. The surface morphology was observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), chemical state of element was determined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and the phase structure of the implanted surface was measured by X-ray diffraction (GXRD). The silver plating experiments onto Ag-ion-implanted molybdenum foil were done with the non- cyanogen plating technology, the element content was analyzed by energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS), and the surface morphology was observed by SEM; The binding strength between silver plated layers and molybdenum foil was qualitative measured with calefaction quencher method; The silver plated samples with scrappy crystal granularity,compact structure and better binding strength were passivated with organic compound (BTA),and the experiments bearing erosion of Na2S liquor were done with the same samples, the affection of concentration,temperature,solvent of passivation liquor,passivation time and dryness fashion on bearing erosion performance of passivation film was discussed; The sample conductance before and after passivation was measured with double electricity test and four probe SDY-5 apparatus; The sample seal performance before and after passivation was measured with overlay area method.The results showed that after silver ions implantation, silver crystal has been formed; The silver plated layers on silver-ion-implanted molybdenum foil have more scrappy crystal granularity,compact structure and better binding strength contrast with the silver plated layers on pure molybdenum foil; The results of bearing erosion of Na2S liquor after passivated in different concentration,temperature,solvent of passivation liquor,passivation time and dryness fashion showed that under given condition, BTA passivation liquor have preferable passivation effect; The conductance and seal performance before and after passivation test results showed that BTA passivation has little affection on conductance and seal performance of silver plated layers. Al and Al2O3 crystal have been observed in the aluminum ion implanted silver foil. With high binding strength, the Al2O3 has great contribution on improving the ability of pure silver foil to resist atomic oxygen corrosion.The results provide valuable theory and experimental information for superficial performance change work on inter-links of solar cell array system used in aerocraft, and provide valuable reference for the application of ion implantation technology and non- cyanogen plating technology in inter-links.
