Cable Stayed Bridge Structures are studied in aspects of the history, general layout, design load,design process, structure feature, construction techniques, inspection systym, and loding test. The main subject is brought forward based on the above dissertation. A study of design and construction for cable stayed pipe bridge is carried out.Opographic and geomorphologic conditions, seismic conditions and meteorological characteristics in the area of the bridge location are described first. The technical parameters of design are dissertated. The pattern of loads and its working conditions, cable standing system, anti-earthquake and anti-wind consideration, basic system, its structure pattern and collation are elucidated meanwhile.The design of the Yongding River pipe bridge is dissertated and illuminated in detail through finalizing the technical parameter, choosing spans, venting air, anti-earthquake caculation, mode of stretch and haul and corresponded equipments, selecting materials, following standards, dynamical calculation, etc. The specialities of wind vibration are illustrated through analysises of wind vibration, and validated through vibration test after the construction on the new built bridge.According to the design, the thesis gives detail construction standard and relevant construction schemes of each sub item of works, such as foundation, bearing platform, tower, anchore, assistant pier, cover girder, and main girder.The stability of this kind of light and flexible structure has been solved successfully through the study of this cable stayed bridge. A sample to reference is suplyed by this first engineering case for its scope and span to the other similar engineering works. The calculation of cable force and technology of cable adjustment are studyed also. The cable adjustment is followed up by computer simulation through which straining cables is directed and checked by displacement survey during construction. It has been proved suitable and economical that the construction scheme of lift and installation of main girders and tower column chosed finally by study and analysis. The data and reference to similar works are suplyed by vibrating test executed on hollow pipe of new built bridge and design is validated.No bad influences have been occured by this cable stayed bridge with one span and no piers in the river. Shining scenery has been presented by the bridge with its novel structure view and harmonious color painting.
