Urban housing was the production of urbanization which was brought by Industrial Revolution. It has more character of society and city than other forms of house and changes our lives and cities deeply. This paper depending on related social and historical background, detailed discusses the process of urban housing′s occurrence, development and evolvement with the typical example of countries and systemic study the related urban planning′s and urban housing′s theories. After that, this paper reviews Chinese urban housing′s history and compare it with the development of Europe. The problems about soil system, public housing system and housing industry in Chinese urban housing′s field are discussed based on Chinese urban housing condition.
