The Artistry And Function Of Light Surrounding

Regardless of the system,developed country and developing country both come to realize that light can better urban public environment successfully with comparatively little money. We are in the transitional gradation and the prevalent problem from functional lighting to artistic lighting is very obvious,so we must do what we can to balance artistry and function, reversing the wrong idea of some people and broaching the culturally inner secret, especially the local folk custom to the course of design. Light contamination is a critical problem,which is the another point of this paper.Firstly,this paper analyzes the conception and cultivation of artistry and function.Secondly,it discusses the relationship of artistry and function from the angle of philosophy on lighting.Thirdly,it draws the conclusion that artistry and function is the two sides of one thing without the opposite relation.Then it analyzes the present situation of light surrounding in China, bringing up some ideas.At last,it gives some optimistical prospects for our furure.
