Medium and low speed maglev train system has the advantages as lower noise, fewer vibration, steadier running, greater ability to take slope and easier to maintain, so it has great potential in urban mass transit. However, for medium and low speed maglev train system, there is no relative standard line to refer. Therefore, the relative research is of great practical significant. And the study of maglev urban rail line vertical section parameters in this paper will supply scientific gist to the compiling of maglev urban rail system line criterion.Medium and low speed maglev train is one kind of urban rail vehicles, but it is different from ordinary wheel-rail train, so when we research the line parameters, apart from common traits of urban rail vehicles, we should fully consider the traits of medium and low speed maglev train itself. Through learning from the confirming method of wheel-rail urban rail transit line parameters and combining the technical traits of medium and low speed maglev train, this paper mainly studies profile design parameters of maglev urban rail line, and on such basis comes up with the confirming principle and method for the profile technical standards of maglev urban rail line. The profile parameters of maglev urban rail line are mainly about the maximum gradient, the minimum radius of vertical curve, the minimum length of straight line between two adjacent gradients and the minimum length of gradient section. The maximum gradient depends on the impetus of the reaction motor of straight line; the minimum radius of vertical curve depends on the train's vertical centrifugal acceleration—the passenger comfortable degree and the atmospheric distance between suspension electromagnetic iron and guideway; The minimum length of straight line between two gradients must ensure that vertical acceleration brought by medium and low speed maglev train on the first vertical curve completes attenuation and does not add to the one on the next vertical curve, and its length depends on the tram's vertical vibration cycle and the vertical vibration cycle number of completing attenuation; The minimum length of gradient section must accord with the length requirements of the minimum straight line contained by the adjacent vertical curves. Through coupling forces examination and dynamics simulation analysis, this paper analyzes the suggestion data of the profile parameters and testifies the rationality of suggestion data of relative parameters.
