The inherent mechanics characteristic and the appropriation construction method of the suspension bridge decides the importance of the main cable shape and the precise degree of the structural parameters value. It is impossible to achieve the design ideal shape by track and adjustment in the construction stage. So its structure shape relies on providing reliable computation parameter and using precise computational method and then through strict manufacture and construction quality control, to make sure the real structure condition tallies with the ideal design condition in maximum limit. The paper launches the analysis and discussion regarding the main cable shape computational method and the surveying error as well as the related structure parameter sensitivity.Firstly, the thesis analyzed the influence of the precision error made by the temperature survey equipment and geometry surveying instrument to the structure shape in view of suspension bridges of different span in the erection of the wire strand of the main cable process. This analysis considered some related factors in the actual survey.As a result the thesis presented the error range in the current temperature and shape surveying precision of suspension bridge in each kind of span.Next, the thesis took one extra-long span suspension bridge which is being constructed as the object of study to analyze the influence degree of the elasticity coefficient of the main cable, the cross sectional area, the weight of the stiffening girder and the value error of the rigidity on the structure shape inner force. This main span of the bridge is 1650 meter and it has two spans with steel box girder and the entire floating system. Through the analysis of the major effect parameter to this bridge, the extra-long span suspension bridge's major effect parameter sensitivity in the quantity have been grasped more accurately.Finally, the thesis emphatically analyzed the influence of the erection spacing of wire strands on the cable shape. On the basis of the mature suspension bridge computation analysis theory at present, the simulating algorithm of the erection of the wire strands of the main cable is established and VC++machine language is used to make the corresponding structure computation analysis program CSAA. Then, by using program CSAA, the main cable shape in various erection spacing of various suspension bridge span is calculated and some relative conclusion is made.The thesis researched and analyzed the sensitivity of the main cable shape error and the major effect parameter of the suspension bridge, and drew some meaningful conclusion which has certain reference value to the suspension bridge's construction and monitoring.
