The main function of the distribution network manages is responsible for the movements, overhaul and the failure processing of equipments such as circuitry under 10KV and electric power distribution transformer,and so on,and guarantees that the running status of the equipments is at the health. In recent years the electric power department has used the specialized graphics software (such as AutoCAD) or the independently developmented information management system for electric power graphic, and realized the spatial data management, but also had the following insufficiency:Has not achieved the true integration of spatial and attribute data; Cannot store the topological relationship between spacial data, Have difficulty to complete the high-level analysis in the distribution network management. In view of these, this article has studied the union pattern of geographic information system and the distribution network management system, and also has designed and developed a set of complete C/S pattern distribution network geographic information system, based on Oracle, spatial data administration mode of ArcSDE,and the development tool of MapObjects which is a kind of GIS module and the platform of VS.NET. The system is able to put the foundation geography information, power equipment data and attribute data into dynamic connection and integrated management. And then, the system has realized high-level analysis function in electric power network distribution management through spatial analysis,and has achieved the simplification of operating mode and the increase of working efficiency. The main works finished are listed as follows:(1) Firstly, this article has analyzed the system's development goal, significance as well as the domestic and foreign present development situation of management information system in electric power enterprise,and then has described the major techniques which the system involves, and has analyzed the primary mission and key difficulty in the research.(2) This article uses the object-oriented analysis and design method,and has carried on the demand analysis and the system design to the distribution network geographic information system.According to system design's general goals and principle, this article has concretely analysed four aspects of the demands which is in the graph, the attribute, the statistics and the foundation application.(3) This research has aimed at system's requirement characteristic, collectively described the system's whole struction design,function framework design,database design,system running and development environment in system's design process.Also,the research has summed up the system's detailed development approach.(4) In the system's realization, the article has explaned the document management's operations; Has elaborated each kind of the electrical network's editional function; Has relaborated the account data induction guide in account management for equipment,and the requirement in account table's data induction. Meanwhile has detailedly introducted the operation in various views, the statistical returns and the system administration.(5) Then this article has elaborated the key technologies in system's realization: power cut topology analysis and electrical network subgraph design and drawing.(6) Finally, this article has carried on the summary to all work,has objectively appraised system's overall complication, has pointed out that this project,which has embarked from the power supply enterprise's power distribution production management's reality and has unioned power distribution production management's characteristics, has achieved the electic power network distribution geographic information system's construction goal which the graph and the equipment data has unified. At the same time, the article has pointed out the direction to perfect system next step, and has carry on the forecast on high-level application direction in the next step's flow intercommunication,in data sharing,in the realization of entire process management in the power distribution production,in the construction of the integrated management platform in power supply enterprise production and so on.
