Development Of Background On Operating States Monitoring System Of HV Transmission Lines

Based on the technology and experience at domestically and abroad, the thermal calculations and the mechanical calculations of evaluating system of transmission lines are researched. According to the wireless communication technology, a GPRS based solution is introduced. The interfaces of evaluating system are developed by DELPHI Integrated Developing Environment. Based on the dynamical data of transmission lines and environment and the historical data, the thermal capacity and the thickness of ice is evaluated by the evaluating system with the methods of thermal calculations and mechanical calculations. The purpose of evaluating system is to increase the transmission capacity and dynamically monitor the ice thickness.
