With the development of the renewable resource, the researches about all kinds of technologies in the renewable field are being paid more attention. Wind power, no pollution energy resource, is paid great attention by more and more countries. The research and application of the wind generation technology are developed rapidly in recent years.This paper mainly researches the grid-side converter of variable-speed constant- frequency wind energy generation. It adopts the three phases voltage source PWM rectifier topology frame. The works include three phases voltage source PWM rectifier principle of four-quadrants, mathematical models on different coordination system. The control system is designed based on the control strategy of voltage-current double-loop system. Then, integrate hardware circuit is designed. Meanwhile, introduce the programming method of key software modules. At last, the Grid-connected converter designed in this thesis is simulated using the PSB model of Simulink, analyzed work states of rectifier and inverter separately. The simulation results are also provided to verify the validity of the model and its theory.
