With problems such as energy shortage and environmental pollution getting more serious, have become a bottleneck restricting of the development of the global economy.The key of the development of renewable energy sources is to study a good performance of power generation technology. The variable speed constant frequency(VSCF)technology is a hot research topic in the field of power generation technology, and applying the brushless doubly-fed machine(BDFM) to the VSCF occasion is a new research area. Its structure has no brush and slip ring, which improves the reliability and reduces the maintenance costs of the motor, and can be using low voltage and low power inverter to achieve control purpose. Based on this, this paper carries out the research of the BDFM independent power generation system.Firstly, this paper introduces the structure and working principle of BDFM, derives mathematical models on different operating situations, this paper makes simulation studies on power system in the Matlab/Simulink environment. Secondly, analyzes the motor's internal energy flow, on this basis, the power system applies the dual PWM converter, and introduces the basic principle and mathematical model of the rectifier.considering that the power system in this paper works in the particular workplace, the rectifier requires faster response speed. According to this, the paper proposes a direct power control strategy based on virtual flux. The control strategy and the modulation method's model is founded and simulated. And this paper builds the hardware circuit and conducts an experiment.This paper introduces the composition of control system of BDFM standalone power systems, analyses the design based on TMS320F28335. And on the basic of the experiment platform, a series of experiments are conducted.
