Untill2007,our country's highway railway track reaches 53 thousand kilometres, the second longest in the world.Most of them adopt semi-rigid base-asphlit pavement structure.Due to the vehicles are travelling bypass,the vehicles are overloaded and the heavy coaches are increasing,the asphalt pavement is being damaged more and more seriously,which has become a remarkable feature distinguishing disesases of the highway from that of common road.The excessive ruts in the highway and city's artery have led the ruduce of the running quality of the pavement,the advancing of the maintaining time and substantial increase of the maintaining cost.This article made detailed discussion about the rutted problem of the high-grade asphalt pavement which was started with the types of ruts,the causes and the harm, and explored the formation mechanism and factors of the ruts in the asphalt pavement.At the same time,the article did research on the design of the high anti-rut asphalt pavement from the two aspects:row material and design graduation and confirmed the methods of improving the high temperature stability performance of asphalt performance by adding high anti-rut agent.The article researched the high performance anti-rut agent,and tried to study the influences to asphalt mixture performances by polyethylene such as Marshall stability,void volume,water stability,anti-rut performance,durability and modulus of elasticity and the variational relationship between the molecular weight of polyethylene and the dynamic stability of the asphalt concrete.Through analyzing the testing results,the article took methods as composite several kinds of macromolecule material and finally trial-produced a kind of anti-rut agent triumphantly.When used 0.3~0.6 percent of asphalt concrete weight,it can improve the anti-rut performance of AC-20 asphalt concrete prepared by AH-70 asphalt from 1500~1800 cycles/mm to 9000~15000 cycles/mm.Meanwhile this article constituted production engineering of the anti-rut agent and the additive and equipment which was used to add additive,and at last paved high anti-rut agent asphalt pavement.Proved by Wuying highway project,the asphalt pavement with 0.35%anti-rut agent achieved 9000 cycles/mm,and decreased the project cost.
