With the rapid development of Chinese construction, the application of prestressed concrete frame is very extensive in civil engineering, industrial engineering and public buildings. At present, many structural tests and research on prestressed concrete have been done. But in practical application, our country engineers still carry on two processes design method on the seismic design for prestressed concrete frame structures. Thus, the existing structure measures has the possibility to be unable to guarantee the sufficient ductility to dissipate the earthquake energy on the structure, then possibly causes the structures to occur collapses.Based on the actual engineering project, Anhui Chaohu thermoelectricity generation factory, This paper ,first, chose the typical representative four floors prestressed concrete frame model with 1/8 scale according to the stress characteristic to do quasi-static tests; Second, an static elastoplastie analysis use using large-scale finite element analysis software SAP2000 was done. Third, with the method which the theoretical analysis and the experiment unifies, thus obtained the stress and distortion characteristic, the position of the plastic hinges and pushover curve and the destruction under various side force . Finally, carried on the analysis to the structure destruction pattern according to different spot which appears according to the plastic hinge, and carries on the contrast analysis with the test result.Based on the experimental and theoretical studies above, the load-bearing capaciy, failure mechanism, hysteresis curves,ductiliy behavior and also the energy dissipation and self-centering capaciy of the beam-column corrections and the whole frame were investigated.Finally the paper ends with suggestions for Anti-seismic Design of Prestressed Concrete Fame Beams to be discussed or referred to for future studiers and designers.
