For Traditional Chinese Medicine, pulsediagnosis is necessary means for acquiring the patient information. BecauseChinese medical doctor acquire the information of pulse signal by forgers, thereis no uniform standard to quantify and standardize this information. These hasinfluenced its accuracy and possibility and restricted the development. Theportable instrument of multiple pulse is trying to clear up these problems forobserving pulse signal by the instrument.With the development of electronics technique, Micro Controller Unitgeneral applies to the instrument field owing to the small volume, the strongfunction, the low power consuming. According to current technique anddevelopment direction, we designed and researched the project of pulse signalacquiring apparatus base on MSP430.The system designed here adopts the ultralow-power 16 bits single-chip microcomputer MSP430F149 as the hardcore toimplement the portable instruments of multiple pulse, and the bulk flash memoryas data recorder. The signals recorded can be transmitted to PC by RS232 or USB.The system uses LCD to monitor the detected data. Combined with some buttons,the system also can provide amicable Chinese menu and makes operation simpleand convenient.The portable instruments of multiple pulse has been tested ,with some meritssuch as mini volume, bulk memory, low power, high cost performance, etc. It isconvenient to be taken with and used in physiological signal collection andindustrial testing.
