A Study Of Rural Settelemnt Landscape Planning And Design Under The New Rural Construction Background

Rural settlement is the basic unit of anthrop ecology and sustainable development. To the extend that the construction of rural settlement landscape is of protecting ecological environment and sustainable development meaning.Formerly the development of rural settlement is showing a natural and slow progress, however the construction of new village open a gate to the rural settlement.Meanwhile the rural economy, rural culture, rural traditions are faced with, in varying degrees, chance and challenge. How to visualize the rural landscape is becoming an important issue in current rural planning practice.The visualization of rural settlement landscape should be made not only through law-based, technical, humanistic way, but also through varied, local, practical ones.Starting with the studies on rural settlement landscape at home and abroad, this paper sums up the thread and process of rural settlement landscape planning and design from a practical operator's view. And makes it clear that the comprehensive planning of town against the new-village-construction background should incorporate landscape designing which is a solid foundation to archive the aim of new-village-planning. For this reason, the rural settlement landscape designing of a new-village-construction should pay much attention to nature, local custom, development and economy; only in this way can we initiate a new rural living mode and make rural settlement a better place for living.By the practice of landscape design for the town of Guan Di , this thesis applies theory to rural planning practice. By analyzing the characteristic and trend of local nature and human landscape, this paper proposes forming a principal landscape axis to incorporate these beautiful sights of the town, and forming five districts to carry four function. In short, I want achieve such aims: making rural settlement landscape a whole from its part, giving prominence to local human and culture characteristic, incorporating national heritage in landscape designing.
