With the swift and violent development trend of China's aging population, the problems of the old are more and more focus on people's attention. How to improve the life quality of the old, especially their spirit life has been a new set of research issues. However ,the present situation of the old public service facility constructions in our country embodies on the unequal distribution, the small service radius, the shabby installation, the limited area, ect. The problem of the old, namely , the problem of society, which is need to solve.The thesis proceeds on the society of demography as the research background, taking the aged entertainment as the study substance, to locate urban communities, to summarize the existing problems at present, to integrate trends of the development, and then to analyse influent elements. On the basis of the two different old people as the study target, to probe into the basic facts of the old entertainment in urban community. Partly from the physiology, psychology and behavior characteristics, combining with the analysis of the population construction, economic development, law tactic and itself development in our country, which systematically research the architecture design of the aged entertainment in urban communities. Further to probe into the indoor and outdoor space environmental distributions, which made influence on the behavior and psychology characteristics of the old. To investigate the old people in typical urban communities, who are aimed at the recognization and the ratification to the architectural environment, which offer improvements of the problems and feasibility suggestions.In conclusion, the summaries of investigation to the aged entertainment in the typical urban communities, which provide practicable the experience in our life, meanwhile, to supply much information on the open building of the old.
