| Steel reinforced concrete (SRC) column which has excellent bearing capacity, stiffness and seismic resistance is widely used in project. It is often under the combination of compression, bending, shearing and torsion and the axial compression ratio is the most important factor affecting the mechanical behavior and seismic performance of column.In this paper, the limit values of the axial compression ratio at home and abroad is introduced and analyzed. There are differences and connections between reinforced concrete and steel reinforced concrete in the axial expression ratio. Based on the theory and experiment results, some suggestions on the limit values of the axial compression ratio of columns are put forward, including different concrete strength grade, shaped steel ratio from 4% to 10% with I shaped steel, cross shaped steel and square steel plate in steel reinforced concrete column, which can be referred in structural design.1,The axial expression ratio is affected by concrete strength grade, shaped steel ratio, steel section and stirrup ratio and so on.2,The ductility of steel reinforced concrete with cross shaped steel is better than others, so cross shaped steel section is suggested in steel reinforced concrete.3,The axial compression ratio changes regularly with rising of concrete strength grade.4,The axial compression ratio is almost the same between reinforced concrete and steel reinforced concrete, but steel reinforced concrete limited value of axial pressure is higher. |
