Powder dosing system has a grate use on food industry, chemical industry, and powder metallurgy Industry and so on. It has played a great role on improving the efficiency, environment and safety, so it's a practical technology. Effective dosing devices play a great role on improving the factory's condition, efficiency, and so on. So, it's useful to start our research on the dosing devices.Base on Discrete Element Method, we have analyzed the factors which play roles on powder flow-ability and dosing system. According to the analysis of the milk, the new device has been designed and its application on hybrid quantifying has been done. Paper's main content and the novel components are followed:Firstly, the paper analyzes the factors which work on the powder flow-ability. Then the Discrete Element Method is introduced which has the great advance on analyzing the physical properties of powder and particle materials. Then the computer simulation based on DEM is made to analyze the powder flow-ability, some factors that we should consider on designing the device dealing powders are discovered. All these offered references to the following works of designing the dosing system.Secondly, according the analysis of the flow-ability, the novel screw device has been designed. Then, the theory analysis on the dosing performance has been done. The results illustrate that the dosing device has a good performance. This backs the high accuracy dosing system.Thirdly, the simulation analysis based on DEM of the devices' performances has been done (mainly on stiffness, friction, density and sizes), and the methods to improve them are analyzed in theory. The results give a support to design a high performance dosing system.Finally, the application of the new devices on the hybrid quantifying theory is made. The hybrid quantifying theory is introduced; the corresponding control system is briefly designed. Then the analysis on the new dosing system is done and we gain a well result. |
