With the rapid development of tall buildings and the requirement of indoor environment, the tall staggered floor structures were used gradually. Its research has been become one of engineering research popular topics. Because the identical floors were staggered of tall staggered structures mutually along the height direction, many short vertical bearing elements were formed. these short vertical bearing elements coordinate the stress and deformation of the staggered floors. Under the horizontal load and the earthquake function, the short vertical bearing elements of staggered floors will lead to have the brittle shearing failure because of the stress concentration. First of all, the tall staggered floor structure has been studied under static and dynamic action. Then two new kinds of the high staggered floor structures under the static and the dynamic action stress performance has been researched in this thesis. The following work has been done:(1) The force of the staggered floor structures under the horizontal load is appro -ximately calculated by using the equivalent column law. The shear force distribute -on has been discussed in detail.(2) The tall staggered floor frame structures has been analyzed under the earthquake action stress performance, Influence of change of column sections on the tall staggered floor frame structures has been discussed.(3) In order to improve performance of the tall staggered floor structures , the bracings were added to the tall staggered floor frame structures. therefore a new structure of tall staggered floor frame structures with bracing has been formed. The influence of quantity and position of the bracings on shear force of the staggered floor frame has been analyzed.(4) Imitating frame - shear wall structure, The few walls has been joined in the tall staggered floor frame structures, which formed a new structures of tall staggered floor frame structures with shear force walls. Force and deformation of the new structure has been analyzed under seismic action.(5) The pushover method has been used to analyze the ordinary staggered floor frame structures and the staggered floor frame structures with bracings successively.
