Research On The Optimal Problem Of Goods Assignment In Railroad Freight Centre

To meet the market demand, recently the railway department in our country has carried out a series of innovations on railway freight transportation concentration. Establishing freight centre is a development trend of freight transportation concentration. The development of freight centre will not only improve the market competition capacity of railway freight transportation, but also accelerate the change of railway enterprise into logistics company. The operation mode and goods assignment problem of freight centre need to be further studied because the railway freight centre has not yet been built in our country.Based on the introduction of developing conditions of railway freight centers abroad, this paper points out the apocalypse to the development of Chinese railway freight centre. The paper also introduces the types of freight centre and its operation modes, and discusses the operation mode of railway freight centre which should be developed in our country. The operation procedures of present railway goods transport and freight centre mode are both analyzed in this paper. On the basis of explaining the meaning of goods assignment in railway freight centre, this paper puts forward the principles of goods assignment which were the important materials first, great clients first, advantaging consignors and increasing transportation efficiency. Based on analyzing the factors including capacity of station, categories of goods, destination of goods, sources of empty wagons and requirements of consignors influencing on goods assignment in railroad freight centre, this paper establishes a multipurpose optimization model for it, and puts forward a corresponding solution algorithm. Finally, the model and algorithm are used in an example, and the result is also analyzed in this paper.
