| Jinping hydropower station under-construction is located on Yalong River in Sichuan province with installed capacity 3600MW.The maximum height of the concrete parabolic double-curvature arch dam is 305 meters and it is the highest of the plans in the world. Geological condition is complicated, weathering relaxation is serious and rock of slope surface is breaking on dam area. It is very important of study on stability to engineering construction.Laboratory physical model test and numerical simulation are important approach for stability and failure mechanics of slopes. The paper studies geomechanics model of slope deformation and destruction combining with the example of geological information. Engineering geologic mechanical model experiment is used to understand the rule of slope deformation and destruction. In order to verify of physical simulation experiment and better master distribution of stresses and displacements on the slope rock mass, the slope has been conducted for numerical simulation by using the software- FLAD3D.The simulation results basically conform to physical simulation and detailed obtain change trend of stresses and displacements on the slope rock and being an experience for the later analysis of slope stability.Numerical simulation need not experiment and workload is little relatively, and Simulation software, FLAC3D, has its unique advantage when simulating large deformation and elastic-plastic aspects of rock mass. Because of self-complexity and geological condition motility of the whole slope, simulation results, which accurately reflect the true results, can not be ensured. According to the physical model, parameters of numerical simulation can be modified and simulation results have a high reliability. This has been thought of very good method that two kinds of simulation methods verify each other.Lamprophyre vein, which is relatively weak plane of the whole slope, has been considerate in two kinds of model experiments. Lamprophyre vein is late intrusive rocks and intensity of this rock is relatively low. According to result analysis of this paper, the graphs of stresses and displacements present phenomenon of step-shaped slip because of influence of Lamprophyre vein, but it have little effect on slope stability. The slope deformation and failure is a progressive aging process and undermine process. The current stability does not mean that the security forever.Research shows that slope top has tension stresses area and deformation of base of slope is relatively big, which continues trend of overseas development on gravity loading. Especially in adverse condition, such as storms, earthquakes and water, slope of the trend will undermine further deterioration. For such a relatively conservative slope support reinforcement measures and monitoring programmers is conducive to slope safety. |
