The Design And Research Of Vehicle-carried Multi-functional Termina Based On Embedded

As the development of the times and progress of science and technology, With the prominent feature,such as small size,powerful performance,lower power dissipation,high reliability and special purpose,embedded system is widely used in modern communication,industry control,consume electronic fields and so on.In this paper, we discussed the issue about vehicle-carried multi-functional termina based on embedded. Firstly, we inroduced the relevant knowledge of embedded systems, and then introduced a GPS (Global Position System) and GPRS (General Paeked Radio Service). On this basis, we focused on a design process of vehicle-carried multi-functional terminal hardware and software.In hardware, it is composed of GPS module, GPRS module, ARM processor module. Basing on Windows CE operating system, we used eMbedded Visual C++ to make a vehicle-carried multi-functional terminal based on the GP / GPRS. We achieved some useful functions such as reception and show the GP / GPRS positioning data, dail-up telephone, shot message alarm.This article reads as follows:(1) Research and design for hardware platformIn this paper, we chose Samsung's S3C2410 as the processor , chose Taiwan Royal digital products's GPS module as the positioning module,chose ZhouLiGong corporation's ZWG-13A GPRS Modem as a wireless communications module, GPS and GPRS modules communicate with S3C241 processor through the serial port. (2) Construction of the software platform, realization of applicationsWindows CE is used as operating system for that it is highly modular operating system. Windows CE is made up different modules, so that we can use Windows CE to customize operating system in order to meet the specific requirements. The not require module would be away, leaving behind the necessary modules, they are combined and compiled to new operating system. We use PB to customize Windows CE, select suitable modules for S3C2410 processor, combine and compile it to construct the software platform.Basing the platform, EVC is used to design application procedures for achieve system function.Finally, we summarized the various features of the system, made some inadequacy to improved and perfected for this system.
