Research On Distribution Network Management System Based On Power Line Communication

In this paper, the scheme of distribution network management system based on PLC is researched, which makes use of 10 kV power line as the transmission medium to realize the real-time reliable correspondence between the monitoring center and the monitor terminal. According to the demand of distribution network management, the friendly backstage management software of distribution network management system is developed by the object-oriented language VC++6.0. The functions of distribution network management system include SCDAD and GIS. In order to management visually, GIS function of distribution network management is developed by using MapX prominent. In view of the distribution network characteristic and the DNP3.0 agreement, the communication protocol of telemetering, the remote letter and the remote control is drew, and the data transmission is realized through the serial port. The data involved in the distribution network is processed by different functional modules, and saved in SQL Server 2000 relations databases.
