Cement Concrete Overlay Asphalt Crack Control Mechanism Analysis

The structural destroys and functional faults appears in the concrete pavements haveaffected the quality of the roads seriously. More and more maintenance works costs areneeded year after year. Large amount of cement pavements are facing to be overhauled orrebuilt. The study of overlays on old concrete pavements is of great value in engineering. Combining theoretic analysis and project practice, this item was studied systematically.This dissertation has mainly covered the study work on six aspects as follows:(1) Basing on the fuzzy mathematics principle, the damaged condition of the cement concrete road have been assessed and different repair measure is adopted to the cement concrete roads according to the grade after assessing;(2) the breakage of cement concrete roads have been classed and each kind of damaged of the reason has been analyzed by system. After these , a different repair method is adopted according to the norm and the actual request to each kind of breakage of dissimilarity;(3) According to the basic theories of pavement crack mechanics and Finite Element Modeling, the causes of initiating and propagating mechanism of reflective cracking is analyzed, and the influence of parameters like modulus, temperature variation, and axes loading on crack intensity factors is studied;(4) This topic elaborate crack controls measure of cement concrete pavement overlay asphalt, and analysis the crack controls mechanism. With finite element software, the importance of anti-fission layers prevent referencion crack is confirmed in theory ;(5)On the basis of currently available asphalt overlay design method at home and abroad, old cement concrete overlay typical structure and the typical structure of surfacing asphalt layer on fracture steady slab are studied deeply; (6) After large acreage cement concrete pavements are destroyed, with crushed stone technique to smash concrete pavement, this article is based on actual engineering experience, elaborating a few crushed stone techniques, which are very important reference for the actual engineering application.
