Hydropower is renewable clean energy, which is an important component part of china's energy structure. In recent years, China's economic develops rapidly, as well as the development of industry, agriculture, and the accelerated pace of the urban infrastructure construction, Social tension in the demand for electricity has become pronounced contradiction. To ease the tense situation in the social power, rich hydropower resources of the southwest region to strengthen the building of rural hydropower strategy, a large number of low-head water power station in the upper reaches of the mountain rivers began to build. Mountain river flash floods rapidly, peak flow, power station on the spillway dam downstream to the low head scouring the safe operation of power plants pose considerable challenges, energy dissipation of the dam downstream structure and energy dissipation effect has always been a focus issue. How to achieve that energy dissipation structure is economic and secure, which is needed to solve on every power station.Based on the analysis of low-head power station, produced a universal significance low-head power station generalized model, and through generalized model experiment, research the common energy dissipation form of low-head power station dam downstream : flat-bottom pool set stilling the auxiliary energy dissipation, and compare different types of energy dissipation's effect, draw some meaningful conclusions, Put forward a broad application of the structure of energy dissipation, and applies them to the air of hydropower plant in Chongqing. Through the whole model test on the model estimates made by the pilot to verify the conclusion, in accordance with the actual air of shops Power Plant Project in its structural optimization and adjustment of energy dissipation, the air of Shop power station received the best dissipation structure and the operation mode power stationIn this paper, the main results are as follows:â‘ Generalized Model experiments show that, by adding any different structures of stilling pier in the stilling basin, will improve flow patterns, increase the role of energy dissipation effect. Engineering applications T-pier stilling basin is a good form structure of the economy and energy dissipation effect;â‘¡Through testing on the 1:80 hydraulic overall Model on the air of shops power plant, verify the experiment result in the generalize model test. Under the same conditions, the T-tail Hom pier together with the T-formation pier (at the end of pool) stilling basin program is a better energy dissipation program.
