With the development of economy and the process of time, many industrial factory buildings constructed in the past have gradually come into the aging period, but as the production infrastructure, the technical status will directly affect the normal production process, the quality of products and restrict the development of the production. Therefore, after the experience of the large-scale construction, we would have paid more and more attention to the repair and reinforcement of existing plants. Reinforcement, an important method with great social significance and economic benefits, can reclaim investment and promote the national economy increase faster.The main contents and results include, in this paper as following: the general principles and flow of reinforcement technology, the basic calculatation assumptions are described, and the basic principle, the main features, the design theory of bearing capacities of right and oblique sections, construction technology and strengthening demands are presented associated with an engineering practice, such as section expansion, surface plate bounding, plate stressing, change stress system, surface shape steel wrapping, surface carbon fiber cloth bounding, steel bar planting. Nonlinear finite element analysis of the flexural behavior of reinforced concrete simple beam strengthened with CFRP is carried out using finite element software ANSYS, and the numerical methods of CFRP strengthening reinforced concrete simple beam are given. Through the comparison of the FEM results of the reinforced and the unreinforced beams, it is concluded that the flexural capacity of reinforced beam improves significantly. In addition, under the the same condition of load action, the flexivity of reinforced beam decreases compared with the unreinforced beam significantly, which matches the results of test carried at home and abroad.
