Along with the rapid development of the electric power industry, the expanding of power systems, and the increasing complexity of system's operating mode, the level of substation automation ever become higher, and this set a lot of new and higher requests to the inter-locking devices.According to the development of inter-locking devices, this paper presents a reliable method of network inter-locking system. First, this paper introduces the structure and characteristics of network inter-locking system, analyses feasibility of method of network, and proposed a reliable network architecture. On the basis of the most inter-locking system that is widely used in substation, this paper puts forward the concept of"inter-locking nod", and based on this, established a method of interlock system. According to the characteristics and actuality of network inter-locking system, to settle the problem of complex connect and extending hard, the paper puts forward a new method based I2C bus.Implementary scheme: In the substation each interval is defined as a execution unit. The unit is recollecting the switching value of devices. In the meantime, the unit controls the inter-locking nod though switching value. Aim at latch-up protection, the execution unit in of each interval is connected with monitoring computer by CAN bus, the digital data can be upper transmits and the order can be released. By means of the reliable hardware design and the proper software program, eventually, the design can achieve the real time remote supervisory in the substation. This paper presents the principle and implementation of a CAN-Based On-Line Interlocking System. This System can monitor operations of unlocking and switching in the substation. It solves the"Omission Operation"and other shortcomings of traditional computer-based Interlocking System; It cancels Computer keys and reduces operating tasks of operators; It also breaks through the traditional Interlocking-device management model, and meets the needs of substation automation development.
