With the widely use of high power upper transport draper-type moving rail, the backstop is also widely used. In some backstop,the more widely used is the NYD type contact backstop. The inverted performance of backstop is reliable, come away portablely, great carrying capacity, compact conformation, better fabrication technology. During the design of backstop, especially the design of the key part allotype stone roller is not deep, the study is still relatively simple now, the method of research is still relatively backward.In order to research NYD type backstop, we carried out 3D solid modeling, assembling and analyzing of simulation experiment to backstop through a virtual prototype technique based upon Pro/Engineer. To numerical simulation analyze the inverted proess of backstop, the ANSYS/LS-DYNA is used based upon the basic theory of manifestation dynamics elasticity plasticity finite element method. The paper researched the inverted proess of NYD type backstop by the numerical simulation analysis, enrich the methods of study on backstop. In the proess of numerical simulation, adopted manifestation dynamics arithmetic and the method proved to be right. The rule of the influence of eccentric circular arc radius and eccentric distance size of allotype stone roller on stress of allotype stone roller and out and in circle is obtained by study of the influence of eccentric circular arc radius and eccentric distance of allotype stone roller on inverted effect. While carrying on the systematic theoretic analysis, it also carry on experiment research of self-design inverted performance experiment table of backstop. The result of study has surely reference value on the design of backstop.
