In order to provide a high performance test bench for some tracked vehicle transmission device, this thesis focus on the research of a vehicle transmission testsystem. Based on the system, extended simulation platform can be developed and shifting control can be optimized.At first, the thesis describes the control of vehicle transmission test system by using the distributed control system (DCS), in which all functions of subsystems including oil-supply, power driving and loading, data acquisition and gear-shifting control are integrated seamlessly. The automation level of the vehicle transmission test system and the testing condition are improved. Meanwhile, the transmission test system controller is designed by DCS and the simulation module is constructed by MATLAB/Simulink, which is a pattern modeling software package. Finally the simulation platform based on the practical system can be developed and the simulation research of the vehicle transmission system is realized.Secondly, data sharing and communication of the simulation platform is completed, including data reading of DCS, data sharing between external and MATLAB and network communication. In aspect of data sharing, with security of DCS considered, data reading of DCS is realized by Application Programming Interface(API) and data sharing between MATLAB and exterior data is accomplished by client/server such as OPC and ActiveX. Meanwhile, network programme technology is used to program for realization of data communication between DCS and upper computer.At last, the thesis introduces the application of the simulation platform in oil-supply subsystem design and locale tests. The simulation and on-line operating tests indicate that the vehicle transmission test system simulation platform works well on data sharing and communication. It shows that the platform already can be used for simulation research and performance analysis of the vehicle transmission system. Development and research for the simulation analysis platform of the transmission system have been actualized, which integrates software simulation with practical tests.
