Comprehensive Conflagration Safety Assessment Of FPSO Crude Oil Tank On-line Washing

With the increasing demand for oil and its consumption all over the world, offshore oil-extraction volume increases constantly. FPSO unit (Floating Production Storage and Offloading system), as the offshore oil-processing equipment with the unified functions of producing, storing, transporting and poweringof the marine oil industry, has played more and more important role of becoming the major producing means for the offshore oil and gas field development. Tank-washing in FPSO production is an important step in the process of the production, having a high risk. The tank-washing security evaluation will provide the basic reliance for the FPSO operational management in order to pre-control accidents through scientific management.First, this paper introduced the methods, various systems and equipment requirements, as well as the steps of the FPSO crude cabin cleaning. Besides, the purpose, characteristics, steps and processes of FSA are also introduced in this part.Secondly, determine the degree that the evaluation indicator influences the evaluation factors through AHP, establish a mathematical model with multi-level comprehensive evaluation through fuzzy mathematical principle, and introduce the ways to make a qualitative and quantitative evaluation for the safety degree of the crude oil cabin cleaning; calculate the RPN of each failure mode according to the data surveyed by experts and make an order to the danger of each fault according to RPN, propose some suggestions and measures to help tank-washing staff operate and manage more effectively.And then, the paper carries out a simulation of the driving gas process by using the software "FLUERT" and compared the simulation result with experimental data, in order to give some guidance in daily operation practice.Finally, it can be concluded that there is certain risks in the tank washing process, among which driving gas operations is the most dangerous process. The operating staff should driving gas in strict accordance with the operation standard, and spare no effort to shorten the driving gas duration to ensure the safety of tank-washing process.
