Study On Cold Air Strong Wind Of Bohai Sea In Winter And Its Effecting On Safety Navigation

The shipping production of Bohai Sea has developed rapidly along with the development of the economy of the area around Bohai Sea. But, because the effecting of the special geographical position and topographical environment of Bohai Sea, the meteorological conditions, such as strong wind, are not alike the other sea areas of China. Especially in every winter when strong cold air break out, strong Nly wind gales will be prevailing in he whole Bohai Sea area. For a long period, nearly every year there have been serious marine accidents caused by cold air strong gales.In order to reduce marine accidents caused by cold air strong gales of Bohai Sea in winters, it is necessary to study the weather systems and process that producing cold air strong wind and waves from meteorological and climatic respects. Meanwhile, the rules of meteorology and climate as well as the recent technical level of weather forecast must be taken into consideration. It is also necessary to discuss the effecting on safety marine transportation and the adoption of safety management measures based on above mentioned studies, while not only in the respect of meteorology or safety management.This thesis mainly summarized and concludes the climatic rules of Bohai Sea Nly strong wind in winter that will be helpful to the people involve in safety shipping management. Using the wind directions and speeds data of passed winters in Bohai Sea got from land and island observatories, drilling platforms and ships, made a statistical analysis on wind speed differences of sea-land observatories, gust wind rate and accuracy of strong wind forecast, which are mainly concerned by safety shipping management. Finally, on the basis of above conclusions, analyzed the effecting of Bohai Sea cold air strong wind to safety shipping, and gave some advices and suggestions to shipping management.The conclusions of this thesis will be helpful for safety management to understand better the climatic rules of Bohai Sea cold air strong wind in winter, and scientifically understand the forecasting information made by observatories and the effecting to safety shipping, so as to do better management and safety guarantee work.
