As a connection component of superstructure and soil, raft foundation has found a wide application in multiple-story structure in China. It is still an urgent problem how to get a satisfactory answer to the raft foundation's stress and strain under different calculation model on the basis of the reliable theory and numerical method.This paper generalizes in detail the constitutive equation of raft-soil interaction in spatial finite element. At present, many researches on raft is established on simplified methods, in order to make sure the research close reality more, the superstructure-thickness raft foundation-soil interaction model is suggested to analyze the change of stress and strain of raft foundation under the change of superstructure stiffness, thickness of raft, raft concrete intensity, elastic ratio of soil and construction course simulation of superstructure. Also, this model is suggested to analyze the change of stress and strain of raft foundation under raft and soil continuous mesh and raft and soil contact. In the end, based on three caculated model of raft foundation which is used in China, the same model which is used in front sections is suggested to analyze the change of stress and strain of raft foundation under different computated model.Through these analyses, some results about raft design have been got from this paper, and they will provide reference value for the practical engineering.
