How to fully use local material or material stabilized by binder as road base course material to meet the demand of service aiming at lowering lost of pavements has been concerned by the highway engineers.Based on the project which is research of construction technique of low cost country rords incharge of the communication department,Considering the practical situation in some regions of Neimeng,research on powdered siol stuabilized by binder and of solidification powder as road base course material has been finshed.By indoor experiments,strength characteristic of powdered soil stabilized by cement,lime,solidification powder have been systemically studied,and relations among this characteristic are sunnarized.On the basis of this,water-resiting characterisitic.forst-resisting characteristic and anti-cracking characteristic arestudied.By test rosd,the construction technique,result and economic summary are commented.Finally,the result of experiments are anglicized with strength formatting and failure theory by X-ray and micro-telescope.With this study,conclusion can bedrawen that powdered soil stubillized can replace gravel stubilized by cement limt.So it can fully use local material to lower construction cost and economic feasibility can be attained.
