The Research On The Urban River Ecological Restoration

River landscape is an important one of the waterfront landscape resources in a city. In the process of urbanization, because of the drawbacks by urban planning and construction, river ecosystems have been badly damaged and the riverfront landscape also be impacted negatively. Rivers form destruction, deterioration of water quality and ecological imbalance damaged the environment of city and had affected people's life quality. In order to rebuild beautiful and livable environment, river ecological restoration has been more and more concerned, and it become an important contents in the city construction. Urban river ecological restoration involves many subjects, the practice needs co-ordination from the view of landscape architecture. But at present, the work of water conservancy, transport, planning and landscape architecture still separated, so the restortation could not get good results.This paper analyses Present situation of urban river ecological restoration, the theory and practice at home and abroad. It Proposed goals and principles of urban river ecological restoration from the perspective of the river landscape. It concluded the methods of urban river ecological restoration from the 3 aspects of river forms, ecological revetment and vegetation restoration. Finally, the case studies made a further illustrate, making a guiding role to the future practice.
