Bearing system of heavy-duty gas turbine is the auxiliary equipment of R0110 GT, which is designed by Shenyang Liming Aero-Engine (Group) Corporation. In this paper, by using the super FEM analysis software ANSYS, considering the actual hoisting ways of hanger, the stress distribution,natural frequencies,vibration mode shapes and harmonic response of the bearing system are thoroughly calculated,analyzed and discussed in the static and dynamic working conditions. The weaker parts of the hanger,the support brace and pedestal are pointed out. Improvement programmes are proposed, which can be applied to design for products.On the basis of two-dimensional project drawings, hanger,support brace and pedestal finite element calculation models with shells as basic units are established. Based on these models, firstly, through the hanger finite element analysis, static stress and displacement distribution,first steps of natural frequencies and vibration mode shapes under the various working conditions of its both hanging the bare machine and the complete machine with base are attained; secondly, static finite element analysis and modal analysis of support brace and pedestal are carried out. Harmonic response in the turbine rotating eccentric load is also calculated and analyzed; finally, modal analysis and dynamic evaluations are carried out for the the entire bearing system design. In terms of the FEM computation results, the performances of the hanger,support brace and pedestal and the bearing system under static and dynamic working environments are analyzed and evaluated. In addition, the calculating results prove that the finite element model established in the thesis is rational, the analysis is correct, and the results could directly help to evaluate and improve the design of bearing system of heavy-duty gas turbine. So provide credible reference for design, which can be applied to the shop drawing for the bearing system.The method and process of FEM analysis on bearing system of heavy-duty gas turbine in this paper are also applied to the design and analysis of other types of equipments.
