| The safety on railway freight transport is always under the focus. With the rapid growth of domestic economy and railway transport, how to further guarantee the safety of railway freight transport has become an important problem.Since freight operations in railway stations are the direct factors which affect the goods' safety during the process of transport, an ideal dealing with freight operations is bound to bring a lot on ensuring railway freight transport safety. Traditional methods for railway stations safety assessment mostly pertain to one kind of after-assess, which is based on the analysis of accidents, and has no capacity to make notices in advance.Through the establishment of assess factors' system, introducing math model, the beforehand assess can be carried out, however, there is no an affecting factors' system which is specially established on railway station freight operations.Based on current problems existing in management for railway station freight operation safety, the paper mainly accomplishes the following research:(1) After comprehensive analyzing on the flow of railway freight transport operations, the paper points out the core operations as well as classifies the freight operations, and also clarifies the freight operations' function on freight transport safety from different aspects.(2) Based on the research of the factors affecting railway freight transport safety, the paper establishes an affecting factors' system for freight operation safety assess.(3) The paper applies a fuzzy math tool and grey relevant analysis to get an assess model, in which a modification is made on affecting factors' priority to the actual state. Afterward, the paper uses an example to testify the availability of the model.(4) After analyzing the detail affecting factors, the paper at the last portion, aiming at different kinds of freight operations, gives a series of suggestion measures on how to improve safety management of railway station freight operations.
