| The mechatronic system consists of mechanic system, electronic system, hydraulic system and pneumatic system. It's hard to find one software which can simulate all the subsystem. LMS Virtual.Lab Motion can simulate mechanic system and performs kinematics and dynamics analysis but it can't simulate combustion process. LMS Imagine.lab has abundant library which can simulate combustion process and electronic subsystem. Co-simulation with LMS Virtual.lab and Imagine.lab may solve the problem which is impossible for one software.Based on engine model provided by LMS and the library of Imagine.lab, co-simulated model is created as well as the interface between the two software. Co-simulation theory is studied as well as shorten the simulation time and increase the simulation credibility. Lookup table method and its credibility is studied. The conclusion is drawn that the balance between simulation step and result credibility shall be searched as well as balance between the data quantity in the table and the credibility of the result. At last, future simulation is expected. |
