Study On The Forward Incident Wave Pressure On The Vertical Face Breakwater

Calculating a wave pressure on the upright breakwater has centuries-old history .From that Sainflou based on elliptic trochoidal wave theory brought forward calculation equation,many theorys had been brought forward. There are a great deal of harvest about researching standing wave pressure on theoretical derivation and model test .Because of limitation of experimental method,every element interaction, so there are differences among different theory. As far as Chinese correlating criterion be concerned, there are different calculation equation among different appplicable condition so unitarity and consistency are lacked. Traditional experimental method think that entrance waveform height and wave pressure on the upright breakwater are corresponding. But indoor condition of experiment and equipments don't analogue field engineering in truth, there are a great deal of indeterminate elements in the corresponding relationship between entrance waveform height and wave pressure on the upright breakwater, waveform height and wave pressure on the upright breakwater can't one-to-one correspondence ,so rationality and reliability are suspicious of. Altering depth of water,periodic is altering wave length in conventional method ,but wave pressure on the upright breakwater and wave length have not directing relationship.Used wave height at front of embankment as controlling parameter and based on a large number of laboratory tests,the paper construe adopting the conception of wave pressure steepness. Based on a large number of laboratory tests this paper deeply analysis on the maximum of the wave force on the upright breakwater and variation law of the maximum of the wave force with wave length and has got the fitting euation about the rule; adopting the conception of wave pressure steepness, deeply analysis on the rule between the maximum of a wave pressure on the vertical face embankment and various factors such as wave height,wavelength and so on.; adopting the conception of wave pressure steepness deeply analysis on the rule distribution of wave pressure.
