With the total number of vehicle production and increases in petroleum products for the power source of the exhaust emitted by vehicles will influence the Earth's climate and the city's major source of atmospheric pollution, and energy shortage problems are more and more severe. So the world automotive industry is positive developing and researching clean energy vehicles. From hybrid electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles to solar cars, pure electric vehicles, the world's universities and large auto companies have invested huge funds scientific research, a new powerful impetus to the development of the process of energy vehicles.Electric vehicles can basically achieve zero emissions can solve the the problem of environment pollution. It uses motor as the driven unit, the sources of the power is very wide, such as hydroelectric power, nuclear energy, wind energy, solar energy. Compared with traditional vehicles, the noise of electric vehicles can be greatly reduced. Electric cars can achieve Drive-By-Wire's minds, simplify system structure, easy manipulation. Electric vehicles can achieve brake energy recovery, and improve efficiency. Unlike engines-a large number of thermal radiation, motors in electric vehicles will help alleviate the urban heat island effect. Electric vehicles can be recharged at night off electricity, to power grid load balanced to maintain plant operation of the economy, improve the economic efficiency of the power grid. Along with the development and progress of technology, the electric vehicle performance indicators will be close to the internal combustion engine vehicles, and the price will fall down, the future of electric vehicles will become one of the advanced modes of transport.This paper introduces the research work of a pure electric bus powertrain parameters matching and vehicle performance, the subject of the Science and Technology Department of Jilin Province in development projects "FAW pure electric bus control system and the development of sample vehicle" high-tech major projects, commited by the FAW Bus Co., Jilin University as a collaborative units, it can shorten the pure electric bus design cycles, reduce development costs and improve vehicle performance. This main content of the paper is:1, Read a lot of home and foreign documents on pure electric vehicles. Introduce the development and application of electric vehicle in detail. At the same time the key technique of electric vehicle batteries and motors are presented. Finally the content and significance of this paper is discussed.2, Based on CDL6700C1-bus, the powertrain parameter matching and choosing of CA6700EV electric bus is done after the project requirements. Matching results are: the motor adopt a permanent magnet DC motor, rating voltage is 336V, peak power is 90-kW; the battery using a production called TS-LFP300AHA 4-rated voltage, 300AH capacity lithium-ion battery; The transmission speed ratio is 1.4 to 6, the electric control correspondent planetary gear transmission.Simulation software ADVISOR is used as a platform structures of pure electric vehicle models, and its performance simulation. Simulation results show that the pure electric bus by matching the maximum speed, the biggest climbing, acceleration performance and the continued running distance, such as mileage driven to meet all the relevant items of performance requirements that the matching scheme is reasonable.3, The virtual prototyping technology, the characteristics of simulation software ADAMS and Car Modeling module method described in detail. Build the front and rear suspension system, steering systems, engine systems and body systems model. By comparing the simulation results and testing data, the accuracy of the model was verified. For electric bus chassis structure parameters matching vehicle performance and lay the foundation for simulation.Details of the vehicle handling stability and its evaluation methods and evaluation indicators are discussed, the pure electric bus chassis assembly is classified, after considering the handling stability of electric bus the chassis structure parameters are matched, and get three matching schemes. Through the simulation tests of handling stability and braking performance, the best scheme of the three is choosen. The simulation results show that the brake programme to meet regulatory requirements witch proves that the chassis structure parameters matching scheme is reasonable, the matching method is effective. It provides a theoretical basis for future studying on electric vehicle performance.
