Reactive-load and harmonious compensation device is considered as one of the most effective solutions to improve power pollution. It can follow to compensate harmonic of which frequency and amplitude is variable and the compensating character is free of infection of resistance of the electric network. The good filter character of HAPF can satisfy the need of compensation. So APF has been widely researched and developed in the recent years.When the reactive-load and harmonious compensation device system were built up, it is necessary to design the test system that can detect and analyze the status of the system at the real time. To make the engineers or researchers validate and debug arithmetic expediently the dissertation intends to construct a test platform adapted to reactive-load and harmonious Compensation device and other power electronics application. Based on this platform, validating the arithmetic and debugging the system has been realized.The paper first introduces the repressive methods of harmonic, most of importance, the principle and structure of HAPF, and proposes the blue print—the combination of parallel voltage-type APF and PPF. Then discusses the design requirement of the reactive-load and harmonious compensation device test platform and work out a holistic scheme, then describe the hardware design and the software design of the compensation device test platform in detail, at last cooperating with research on the test system and give the experimental results.The hardware part begins with the introduction of the platform's main circuit and drives circuit design, and then makes emphasis on the design of modules circuit which includes system control module design and system communication module design. System control module takes TMS320F2812 of TI Corporation as CPU, supplies highly quality power circuit and designs flexible signals collection and regulation circuits, conversion circuit from analogue signal to digital signal and digital logic circuit. System communication module contains USB and CAN communication design.The software part is divided into two parts, one part is the bottom DSP and MCU program including arithmetic, communication and communication control program, another part is the top PC program including a USB driver in XP operating system and a virtual scope based on NI-LabVIEW. The virtual scope can not only monitor and display the variables in the bottom DSP but also analysis and edit these variables online. Finally, the feasibility and validity of the reactive-load and harmonious compensation device test platform has been proved by the given experimental results which come from several experimental programs.This dissertation realizes the basic functions of the reactive-load and harmonious compensation device test platform by which we validate the arithmetic that compensates the system harmonic. The test platform also provides exoteric human machine interface, has flexible communication mode and displays its potential practicality.
