Liquid level is one of the most popular control parameters in industry field; good control of liquid level is very important to the quality of products and maybe even lead to success or failure of production. So control of liquid level has an extensive actual application value and optimistic application perspective. Normal PID controller is widely used in the control of process because of its simple structure, strong robust. But Normal PID controller can't adjust itself according to the spot situation; normal PID control in nonlinear system usually can not achieve good result. Thanks to the increasing of our knowledge and fuzzy control that not depend on precise math formula, we have a new way to resolve this problem, and good result has already been obtained in industry field. Putting fuzzy controller and normal PID controller together and applying them to liquid level control system has actual application value.This article has primarily accomplished the following work:1. This article first selects suitable control hardware and then makes up actual control system according to actual requirement and cost performance to reach control target before the control method been designed.2. First, design the software part of the system to deploy the hardware. Then do the monitor configuration design.3. As to the liquid level control system, this article designs normal PID controller and fuzzy PID controller, and then do simulation study to the fuzzy PID liquid level control system in MARLAB. Finally this article compares performance of control system of normal PID control and fuzzy PID control when the control target model of the liquid level control system changed through simulation.
