In the recent years, the main problems in the engineering practice of prestressed concrete continuous beam bridges and studies on the control of them is the concern for people from different fields such as bridge maintenance, designing consultancy and theory research. This paper presents briefly the development of prestressed concrete beam bridge, and explains it's characterisic of construction. The paper discusses development and trend of prestressed concrete beam bridges at present, analyzes and discusses briefly the main problems in the engineering practice. Taking a Prestressed Reinforcing Steel Bar Concrete Continuous Box-girder in single railway as an example, this paper introduces the methods of disease for a bridge beam, confirm diagnostic programme in details which through expert experience. There is a set of diagnostic assessment system including expert diagnostic, detection and evaluation, theoretical analysis, test verification by real bridges.The author introduces the purpose, main contents, principle and bases and detection results of all sorts of detection and analysis in detail. Based on detection results and the finite element method, large-scale finite element software was used to complement theoretical calculation and analysis for the beam damage before and after, the paper finished the simulation analyses of the construction process of support construction and analysis of the global spacial modal and achieved the target of explicit evaluation to the structural performance and rthe easons for disease. Meanwhile, combined with analyze simulation results,this article gives full appraise for real bridges using bridge static-dynamic load testing, and further improve and perfect the analysis of the major diseases of bridge beam, gives some advise on treatment of disease and good economic and social benefits have been achieved.
