Fork is an important part of the Automobile Gearbox. Because the fork has different parts, which have similar shape it is easy to make mistake in assembling fork. Error fork could not work normally even result in accident. So we must detect whether assembling fork were right or not, and pick out the mistake fork.In overseas, some Automobile factories adopted robotized detection system to detect assembly fork. The method is simple convenient, even can reduce the cost and error ratio. Because labor cost is low-lying and the technology of the robotized system is complicated, so there is not the similar system to apply to manufacture in China. At present, manual detection is the general way, but it waste time, strength and low precision. In the way the operator must check up the assembled fork carefully, but he could not avoid inaccuracy and waste time and effort.Through studied carefully the park of the fork, the writer have designed a system of detecting assembled fork. First, the system detects characters of the assembled fork, then the system analyzes and judges the assembled fork whether is right or not by comparing the characters of the assembled fork with the regular charactersThe main research in this paper is as follows:1) Analyzing the character of the parts of the fork, judged the assembled fork by researching the possibility of mistake using the theory of Permutation and Combination.2) Designing a new sensor, according to the necessary of detection.3) The controller of the system is PLC, Using man-machine interface to show the relevant information.The system fused the knowledge of machine,electric,sensor and control. So the systems were a new kind of electro-mechanical .After the system development, it is proved to be effective by half-year practice .In practice the system had not make mistake and satisfied the Production. It spent the operator only 8 seconds to detect a fork by this system. At present, we have not found any information about the same system. So the system...
