In the JBP of the IACS, there are many arrestive techniques. Include of new net scantling approach, advanced wave load model, the conception of ultimate strength which make more transparent of the ship's strength and unify of valuation technique of the fatigue strength, which promise ship's service life for 25 years.In the analytical method of the net scantling, net scantling is the thickness which be ensured that they are complete in the term from manufacture to termination to satisfy structure's strength. It provides the strength characteristic which is required of structure bearing load. Don't include of any corrosion remaining quantity in the period of working and the thickness which is increased by ship owner voluntarily.At the aspect of theory and practicality, remove the corrosion remaining quantity in the period of working (and wear amount of remaining etc.) from the manufacture thickness. Using the conception of the net scantling to regulating the lowest request of ship structure, it is reasonable and necessary for ensuring ship's structure safely in the whole cycles of the life.At the current, various ship's criterion are based on manufacture thickness and corresponding statistical rule in our country, statistical results and research means which are different with net scantling. Those are the background and the purpose of this thesis.This thesis research on 110m river-to-sea bulk carrier, optimize the main structure's thickness of the hold by direct calculation of the whole hull structure's strength through FEM. Make the bending strength and buckling strength at the range of the 0.6L in the midship (namely the 0.2 L to 0.8 L) under standard (or don't exceed 5% of the standard), and do not have big remaining strength (have a kind of strength remaining quantity at the range of±5% at least).At the aspect of structure, it is essential that ensure the bending strength, buckling strength, fatigue strength and ultimate strength of structure. So it is natural that use those safe guideline to certain the structure's net scantling.Considering the characteristic and the request of the river-to-sea bulk carrier, according to the current calculation analytical methods, the item which is ensured by net scantling should have a particular emphasis, so this thesis considerations bending strength and buckling strength.This thesis according to other optimization algorithms educes an optimization algorithm which adapt to the model of this thesis.Those are proved that the optimization algorithm is viable by calculation and which constringency rate is speedy.Also write some procedures which in pre-process and result analyzing, which make the calculating process more quickly and conveniently.
