| Cable-stayed bridges without back-stays are more and more popular, with their special nice-looking figures and novel structures, in the trends that the harmony between function and aesthetics in bridge construction is paid more atention to than the satisfactin to the basic traffic need, with the developing of social economy. Though there are already some cable-stayed bridges without back-stays built, and even more to be constructed, no theory is mature enough to guide the designing and construction controlling.The specific properties of their whole structures and designing are analyzed in this dissertation, based on a comprehensive survey and research of such kind of bridges all of the world, to summarize the proper lengths of spans and their assignment, as well as the patern of stayed cables.A example was cited with its entire construction controlling. Conclusions drawn through analyzing dates from under-constructing bridge, are, contrarily, timely used to direct the construction, to make the construction safer and efecter, and basic internal forces of this bridge more rational and even both inunder constructing stage and completed stage. The purpose also includes to make the whole construction cost much less but safer, the advantages of this kind of bridges be fully made use of ,and their shortcomings be farthest avoided.Besides, feasible methods of construction controlling are proposed, and advices drawn from the construction experience are present in this dissertation, with uses for reference. Load test of this bridge in completion stage is carried out, to justify the coherence between the construction and designing. The methods used in testing are also of great value to the bridges of this kind.In sum, abstractly, this dissertation has some meanings to enhance the knowledge of cable-stayed bridges without back-stays, and provides a full-scale knowledge arrange from structure performance to designing method to construction controlling. It possess much useful guidance for others of this kind bridges construction controlling. It also has some value not only to promote the subsequent research of this kind of bridge, but also accelerate the spreading of such a novel bridge type. |
