A testing system for micro fuel cells is designed and completed after sub-modules of this system are realized.The subsystem of cathode gas flux control for DMFC is designed and built, and the monitor computer control program is compiled based on LabVIEW. The gas flux can be controlled accurately and steadily and experiment data can be handled immediately by the modified self-adaptive PID algorithm and the driver of Voltage Controlled Constant-current Source.Parts used to test power with the form of single-point series connection and those used to test multipoint temperature are designed and completed according to demand of the Fuel Cells. Hardware circuit is designed; driving program and control system are completed. The power, current and voltage about the special point of Fuel Cells system can be controlled and relevant data can be collected immediately with the method of Parts used to test power with the form of single-point series connection. Meanwhile, the temperature of special point for Fuel Cells and testing system can be handled.Based on the composing principle and design method of the fuel cell testing system, the hardware platform frame and the interface type of the sub-modules are developed to integrate and evaluate every sub-module.The testing control platform for the epigynous machine and the communication protocol of the controller and hypogynous machine of the uDMFC testing system are also studied in this thesis. Finally, sub-modules of the hardware platforms can work cooperatively, operating parameters can be real-time controlled and the testing data can be real-time collected,displayed,analyzed and processed.The micro fuel cell testing system based on modular design method developed in this thesis can be used to test the performance of different type fuel cells because of its good flexibility and extensibility.
