With the development of freeway, more and more road tunnel can be constructed. But fire has occurred frequently while road tunnel bring more convenient to the people in production and livelihood. Tunnel fire as an important issue is facing people's eyes.The lining structure fireproof plays an important role in tunnel fire prevent engineering. Numerous cases of tunnel fires emphasized the importance of tunnel lining fireproof and they indicated that fire may cause severe damages to tunnel lining in terms of concreting spalling , reduction of physical-mechanical characteristics and load bearing capacity . Variation of temperature distribution, mechanical behaviors, and fireproof performance are studied in this paper which depends on the Jiaozhouwan Tunnel of Qingdao . The contents are as following: 1) the fire scenario and its design method and test method applied in fire prevention of road tunnel; 2) analytical method and FEM simulation of temperature distribution in tunnel lining structure. 3) Mechanical characteristics in tunnel lining structure. 4) Methods of fireproof performance of enhancing road tunnel lining structure.On the basis of statistical analysis of fire case , theoretical analysis and FEM simulation , a series of following understanding and valuable finding are achieved in this paper : 1) fire scenario and its design method and test method are established on consideration of tunnel fire characteristic and its influencing factors. 2) Analytical method of temperature distribution in tunnel lining structure is presented. At the same time, variation of temperature distribute disciplines on lining structure are studied by using FEM simulation method. 3) Deformation and re-distribution of internal force of lining structure under fire condition are studied. The results reveal that deformation occurs after fire scenarios. In addition, because of non-uniform temperature distribution and different deterioration of lining material, the re-distribution of internal force will occurs during fire scenarios 4) The form, mechanism, detection and evaluation of fire damage to lining structure are studied. Moreover, methods of fireproof performance of enhancing road tunnel lining structure are presented.
