| The fast urbanization in our country has drastically increased the need of urbanconstruction land, and destroys the nature landscapes and decreases the function of naturecity ecosystem. Resuming the consistency of the nature landscapes and constructing urbaneco-network become effective ways to import nature into city landscape and improveecological environment. Urban eco-network is build up based on the urban structure, andwe could use ecological corridor as a tie to link those relatively independent landscapepatch into a continuous and integrated eco-network which is also viewed as the skeleton ofthe city. Such the structure has the functions of natural ecological service, life-form varietyprotection, stroll about or rest of sight, and directing the development of urban space into arational way. This thesis is presented in the following three sections:In Section one, It specify the definition of urban eco-network, which bases on thediscussion of urban eco-network planning study of both internal and international cities. Italso described the theatrical basis and feasibility of urban eco-network construction fromthe following theories' study, namely, the island biology of landscape ecology, thelandscape layout principle, and the "patch-corridor-matrix" model. Furthermore, it proposea principle of urban eco-system construction, which contains the following six steps: (1)confirmation of the planning goal and scales; (2) investigation and analysis of landscapeecological resource; (3) planning of landscape patches; (4) design of urban ecologicalcorridor; (5) forming and optimization of urban eco-network system; (6) coupling ofeco-system and city space.Section two illustrates above theories and methodologies by taking Changzhou city asan example. Firstly it analyze the dominance and existing problems of Changzhou city'snatural landscape ecological resource. Next, taken urban Circle of Suzhou,Wuxi andChangzhou's eco-network as regional background, we discuss the construction ofChangzhou city's eco-system for both administrative region and urban area of Changzhoucity. Lastly, by analyzing Changzhou city's space development situation, we further showthat the coupling of constructed eco-network and Changzhou city's space would lead to arational North-South extension of city development. Conclusions are in section three with constraints discussed, and a summary ofdirections for future work. |
