Assembly is an important part of the factory manufacture system, whose quality has direct effect on production's capability, as well as first cost of it, so the automation of assembly has come to be a pivotal technique of manufactures, which needs to be deal with immediately. It must be based on regular quality to achieve assembly automating, and assembly has more production rate. So it is very important when automatic test equipment is used on automating assembly lines. It can not only control assembly quality, but also the collecting data can continue to deal with and get more information by checking equipment. Thus it can be seen that it is very important for us to apply the automatic detection to assembly line.This paper combined the automation assembly technique and intelligent testing technique, using some mature techniques nowadays, such as sensor technique, Robert technique, hydraulic pressure technique, and singlechip technique, designs asset of intelligent system detecting assembly force, which is low cost, and is fit for assembly. We have already done mechanical analysis, force testing and control in the course of the typical axis part assembly.The paper includes three aspects about designing intelligent system detecting assembly force. Firstly, the paper does mechanical analysis of axis-hole assembly, and make procedure by FORTRAN to calculate the shaft-force in the process of axis hole assembly, and analyses shaft-force influence of each factor, then, make the strategy on assembly control. Secondly, it puts forward the scheme design of system detecting assembly force and includes a lot of aspects as sensor, amplifier, A/D transformer, singlechip, D/A transformer, LED, keyboard, light, Serial Bus and output control, etc. The main research is intelligent force-testing device, The paper designs the software on the basis of hardware, debugs and does simulation again and again to improve the accuracy and reliability. Finally, the paper illustrates the anti-jamming measure in the system. This design broadens space for the research and application of assembly force control, which will have a bright perspective.
