| Corrugated board is widely used in the packaging industry. The main advantages are lightness, recyclability, low cost, and high strength. This makes the material the best choice toproduce container devoted to the shipping of goods.Our country is a big corrugated board industry country, but there is a big problem widespread existence which is the product quality doesn't reach or over a mark. The method of corrugated board design such as choice raw material is blindness. Not only wastes abundant resource and increases cost, but also influences the economic performance of business enterprise seriously. So it is a critical problem to solve the product quality within cost.This paper analyses the buckling behaviour of corrugated board according to the classical laminated plate theory (CLT), and analyses the effect of the parametric of the raw material and geometric. In order to investigate the strength relationship between corrugated board and base paper, an experiment and regression analysis was introduced in this paper. The edge crush test(ECT) and bursting strength test(BST) is performed, the experimental data is processed by the software of SAS, and had a regression equation of edge crush strength and bursting strength of the corrugated board at last. This equation could predict the strength of corrugated board and provide to choose the base paper. For studying the corrugated board strength characteristics under different conditions, the moisture sorption isotherms characteristics of the corrugated board is researched firstly on testing its moisture content under different conditions, and based on the tests data and theory, set a moisture absorption model equation, then study the relationship between the edge crush ratio or bursting strength ratio which introduced in this paper and its moisture content. At last renew the regression equation.The models and theories of this paper react on the parameters of the real production. |
