At present,the quantity of automobile in our country is taking on trend of unceasingly increasing.Meanwhile,the traffic safety in our country is very serious. Following by the traffic accidents,the disputes also appear.Therefore,it is very necessary to do some exploration and research for vehicle accident analysis,which could play a supporting role in dealing with the accident.In this paper,on the basis of in-depth study the interrelated theory and technology,combined with the actual issue of the project,GPS signals and the signals from inertial navigation system which is componented of accelerometer and gyro were received by LPC2210 SCM,the GPS signals was displayed on the LCD at the real-time,as well as the series of signals which collected by INS was processed:Including normalized to the same coordinate(using the coordinate that after stopping) , calculated the automobile trajectory when accident happened by integral and mapping. The purpose is to build a well-targeted and more generic vehicle accidents analysis system.In addition,The system can also record the GPS signals ,it not only can monitor traffic routes, but also provide the original location where accidents occurred. The system has the characteristics of relatively low price and better prospects.Among the technological means to solve traffic accidents, this paper proposes one way to restore vehicles running track using the data from inertial system,which has certain characteristics and innovation.
